We are seeking a passionate and resilient English Teacher to join our secondary team in Leasowe immediately. This is a vital role for an educator who believes that communication and literacy are the keys to unlocking a student's potential, especially within a specialized and supportive learning environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons that inspire a love for reading, writing, and self-expression. We need someone who can take the curriculum and make it accessible and exciting for students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative and high-impact English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Tailor your teaching approach to meet specific educational needs and learning gaps.
• Foster a classroom culture where students feel confident to find their voice.
• Assess progress and implement strategies to improve literacy levels across the board.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on student well-being and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
• Proven experience teaching a variety of subjects (Primary or Secondary background).
• Strong classroom management skills with an empathetic approach.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
