Roles and responsibilities :
... - You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
- You will create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of literature and language.
- You will collaborate with a supportive team of English Teachers, sharing best practices and contributing to departmental initiatives.
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities such as leading a creative writing club or participating in school productions.
Requirements :
- A qualified English Teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching in UK secondary schools.
- Eligibility to work in UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Relevant teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
- A passion for English and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
