The Role: Day-to-Day English Cover
Complete Flexibility: Manage your own diary and work the days that suit you. There is no obligation to commit to full weeks.
Focus on Teaching: Deliver engaging pre-planned English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, without the burden of planning, grading, or parents' evenings.
Diverse Environments: Gain experience in a range of secondary settings, from large academies to smaller schools.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in English.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to confidently deliver the secondary English curriculum.
Effective classroom management strategies to quickly engage students and foster a positive learning environment with new classes.
A flexible, proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to different school policies.
A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one).
