Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified teaching status) is essential.
- Relevant qualifications (PGCE or similar).
- An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
- Experience teaching English in the UK is necessary.
- Exceptional subject knowledge and a deep passion for English literature and language.
- Current safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- High expectations of pupils' achievements, attainment and behaviour.
