Randstad Education is partnering with a highly-regarded and supportive secondary school in Romford to recruit an ambitious and talented Teacher of English who is ready to take on the responsibility of Second in Charge (2iC) within the department.

Core Responsibilities:
Teaching Excellence: Deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), driving consistently strong student outcomes.
Curriculum Support (2iC): Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in the strategic development, planning, and review of the KS3/KS4 curriculum.
Team Development: Provide mentorship, support, and guidance to colleagues, championing outstanding teaching practices through informal feedback and training.
Assessment & Data: Support departmental assessment cycles and assist in the analysis of student data to inform targeted intervention strategies.

Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related subject is essential.
