Are you a qualified English educator seeking a professional opportunity that offers both flexibility and career stability? We are currently facilitating placements for dedicated English Teachers to support secondary schools across the Plymouth area. Whether you prefer the adaptability of daily supply cover or the consistency of long-term assignments, this role offers a professional environment to utilise your expertise.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Provide general cover across diverse subject areas to ensure continuity of school operations.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and safe learning environment.
- For long-term placements, assume full responsibility for lesson planning, marking, and monitoring student progress.
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS. Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.
- Specialist knowledge of the UK English curriculum.
- A commitment to maintaining professional standards within the classroom.
- Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one).
- Competitive daily rates (£130-£160) for supply, with potential for MPS/UPS scale for long-term roles.
