About the Role: Working in Reception and Nursery classes, you will be instrumental in providing a safe and stimulating environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery of the EYFS framework through indoor and outdoor play.
Assisting with Phonics sessions (experience with schemes like Little Wandle or Read Write Inc. is a bonus).
Facilitating "learning through play" and setting up creative activities.
Providing personal care and support with hygiene where necessary.
Observing and recording pupil progress to support the Class Teacher.
What we are looking for:
Experience: Previous experience within an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception) is essential.
Qualification: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Education is highly desirable.
Personality: A warm, nurturing nature with the energy to keep up with busy early years classrooms.
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) and two professional references.
