Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception/EYFS Teacher to join a highly regarded school in Oxted for a long-term maternity cover role. The successful candidate will begin in early September with a phased handover period (2-3 days per week) before taking full responsibility for the class.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident educator to make a meaningful impact during a key stage of a child's development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework

• Take full responsibility for classroom planning, assessment and teaching

• Provide PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) cover as needed

• Actively participate in staff meetings and whole-school activities

• Lead on a subject area, contributing to school-wide curriculum development

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Uphold and promote safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Proven experience teaching in a Reception/EYFS setting

• Confident with classroom management and EYFS curriculum delivery

• Experience delivering PPA and taking part in whole-school responsibilities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision

• Subject leadership experience (desirable but not essential)
