Randstad Education is now recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our warm and welcoming primary school in Southend. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire, engage, and nurture young minds at the very start of their educational journey.
You will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage framework with creativity and care, supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of all children in your class.
Our client schools have the ability to provide stimulating environments for young children to develop motor skills, core skills, confidence and imagination in learning. Early childhood education is a special and fulfilling field. You will have the opportunity to influence a child's destiny and participate in their early education, and in this role you will watch them develop, learn, and thrive no matter what the day brings.
This is a full time role that comes with the full responsibility of the class teacher starting in September.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons based on the EYFS curriculum.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Use play-based and structured learning strategies to meet individual needs.
- Monitor and record pupil progress through observations and assessments.
- Support children in developing key skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
- Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in all pupils.
- Uphold safeguarding practices and ensure pupil welfare at all times.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
- Proven experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and development matters.
- Strong classroom management and nurturing behaviour strategies.
- Ability to inspire young learners through creativity, patience, and empathy.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities.
