My client is seeking a dedicated Commercial Building Fabric Technician to join their facilities team. You will be responsible for the comprehensive fabric maintenance and repair of a portfolio of commercial buildings across London, ensuring each property remains safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing for occupants.

Role Type: Temp-to-Perm
Key Responsibilities:
Fabric Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance on internal and external building fabric, including repairs to walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and windows.
Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute planned maintenance to prevent deterioration, focusing on carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, and general upkeep.
Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to reactive issues, diagnosing and resolving fabric problems efficiently to minimize disruption.
Record Keeping: Accurately document all completed work, ensuring maintenance logs and reports are up-to-date.
Qualifications:
Level 3 Carpentry
Requirements:
Proven experience in fabric maintenance within commercial environments (e.g., office buildings, retail).
Strong technical skills in general building maintenance, including carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, and minor plumbing.
