Are you registered with the NISCC and experienced in practical child and family support? We are looking for compassionate Family Contact Workers to facilitate and oversee crucial contact sessions. In this role, you will work alongside Social Workers to provide a safe, structured environment for families, ensuring high-quality contact and making a tangible difference in the lives of local children and young people.

Core Responsibilities
- Arrange, manage, and directly supervise safe contact sessions between children and their families.
- Transport children to and from contact appointments safely and punctually.
- Provide objective, clear, and detailed observational reporting on all contact sessions to support social work assessments.
- Support positive family interactions during sessions.
- Coordinate with Social Workers and community support networks while immediately reporting any child protection or safeguarding concerns.
Applicant Requirements
- 6-12 months of previous paid experience in a child, family, or social care setting.
- Current registration with NISCC.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
- Fully up-to-date immunisations, including Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
- Strong observational skills, the ability to manage a varied schedule, and skills in building professional rapport with families.
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role).
