Randstad Education is seeking an inspiring, dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a highly successful, Ofsted 'Outstanding' secondary school in Upminster. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a two-term contract starting in January.
This role is ideal for experienced coaches, unqualified teachers, or qualified teachers looking for a stable, long-term assignment in a highly supportive environment. QTS is not essential for this role, but strong subject knowledge and exceptional classroom/field management skills are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
... Teaching & Coaching: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons and activities to female students across all Key Stages.
Curriculum Delivery: Cover both practical (team sports, gymnastics, fitness, etc.) and theoretical PE lessons as required by the department.
Team Management: Effectively manage student behavior and ensure a safe, positive, and motivating environment during all practical sessions.
Candidate Requirements
Gender Requirement: We require a Female PE Teacher for this role to meet the specific pastoral and safeguarding needs of the girls' changing facilities and classes.
Experience: Proven experience teaching PE or leading sports/youth coaching sessions with secondary-aged students.
Qualification: Strong subject knowledge is essential; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required but welcomed.
Commitment: Must be available to start in January and commit to the full two-term contract.
Compliance: Successful candidates must pass an Enhanced DBS check (full support provided by Randstad Education).
