We are partnering with a local authority in their search for a Finance Officer. This is a 6 month temporary role based on Maidstone offering hybrid working (4 days per week at home, 1 day in the office) and a day rate of up to £150 per day.
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing accruals, prepayments and adjustments
- Meeting with budget holders and discussing forecasting, supporting purchasing and contracts
- Management accounts and month end
Please apply if you have:
- AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent is essential
- Be able to demonstrate a wide range of practical financial skills and knowledge, gained through a
- minimum of 3 years experience in a financial environment, working at a supervisory level, preferably
- within a large- scale public sector organisation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with SAP is highly advantageous
- Experience working in a local authority is highly advantageous
