About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and certified First Aider to join a large and diverse secondary school in Bradford on a part-time basis, starting immediately. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for all non-emergency medical and first-aid needs within the academy. Essential Requirements & Qualifications
... - First Aid at Work RQF Level 3 qualification (must be current and verifiable).
- Proven experience administering first aid in a professional or school environment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate, competent first aid treatment to students and staff as required.
- Manage, clean, and restock the academy's First Aid room and mobile kits.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and detailed records of all accidents, incidents, and medical treatment given.
- Liaise with parents/carers, staff, and emergency services when necessary.
- Administer prescribed medication to students in line with school policy, training, and documentation.
- Monitor students post-treatment, ensuring they are fit to return to class or arranging for their collection.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans for students with specific medical conditions.
- Report serious incidents and hazards to the designated safeguarding lead and relevant school management.
- Contribute to the review and updating of the school's Health and Safety and First Aid policies.
- Participate in relevant training and professional development to maintain current skills and knowledge.
