What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience as a social worker, with significant experience in front-line children's services, particularly in duty, referral, or assessment teams.
Current and valid Social Work England registration is essential.
Proven ability to undertake robust initial assessments, make critical threshold decisions under pressure, and manage immediate risks effectively.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation (e.g., Children Act 1989), statutory guidance, and local safeguarding procedures.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with children, families in crisis, and a range of multi-agency partners.
