Position: Site Supervisor
Location: City of London
Salary: £51,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems within our client's facilities. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
HVAC System Management: Ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repairs of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to maintain optimal indoor air quality and comfortable environments.
BMS Operation: Managing the Building Management System (BMS) to monitor, control, and optimise various building functions, including temperature, lighting, and energy usage.
Supervision and Team Management: Leading a team of skilled technicians and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of maintenance tasks.
Preventive Maintenance: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and equipment failures.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Problem Solving: Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues, implementing solutions, and taking appropriate corrective actions.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, reports, and equipment performance.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within facility management or related industries.
- Expertise in HVAC system maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in managing and operating Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide technicians effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in facility management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications or certifications would be an advantage.
