Food Technology Teacher Wanted in Sefton!

We're looking for someone who can turn a simple recipe into a masterclass and inspire students to get cooking.
Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we want to hear from you!
We are looking for someone with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- The ability to manage a busy classroom with confidence.
- A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on Food Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Teach students essential cooking techniques and nutritional knowledge.
- Manage the kitchen environment, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
- Plan and prep ingredients and equipment for practical sessions.
- Inspire students to explore diverse cuisines and healthy eating habits.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their culinary creations.
