Rate: Approximately £32.87/hr
Contract: Temporary, full-time
Respond to Referrals: Rapid evaluation of child risk assessments and safeguarding concerns.
Conduct Assessments: Thorough reviews of child and family situations-covering physical, emotional, developmental, environmental, and risk factors.
Develop Care Plans: Create bespoke support and safety plans to address identified needs and risks.
Family Engagement: Work closely with families, providing guidance and intervention to foster positive change.
Multi‑Agency Collaboration: Coordinate with police, schools, health services, youth justice, and other stakeholders.
Case Recording: Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes
Qualified Social Worker: BA in Social Work (or equivalent), registered with Social Care England.
Enhanced DBS: Valid and up-to-date for working with children.
Child Protection Experience: Strong foundation in safeguarding protocols and practice.
Assessment & Case-Management Expertise: Capable of handling complex cases within statutory timeframes.
Excellent Communication: Able to build rapport with children, families, and other professionals.
