Job Title: Site Gateman / Traffic Marshal
Position Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (CIS/Umbrella)
Location: High-Profile Tier 1 Construction Site
Are you an experienced Gateman or Traffic Marshal looking for a long-term, stable role on a major project? We are recruiting for a reliable Gateman to manage the front gate and site logistics for a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a well-run, organized, large-scale development with guaranteed weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities
Gate Management: Control access to the site, checking in visitors, sub-contractors, and ensuring all personnel have the correct site induction.
Delivery Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for all incoming site deliveries, checking delivery notes, and directing vehicles to the correct offloading zones.
Traffic Banking: Safely bank and guide delivery vehicles, plant machinery, and wagons into and out of the site entrance, ensuring public and worker safety at all times.
Logistics Support: Keep the main gate and delivery area clear, tidy, and safe.
What We Are Looking For
Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
Traffic Marshal / Traffic Banker Ticket (CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent approved ticket)
Experience: Proven experience working as a Gateman/Traffic Marshal on a large-scale or Tier 1 construction site.
Communication: Clear verbal communication skills to interact with delivery drivers, site management, and members of the public.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
