Secondary Cover Teacher (General Cover)
Location: Holsworthy and surrounding areas
Salary: £100 - £165 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a qualified teacher or an experienced cover supervisor looking for flexible work that fits around your life? We are looking for adaptable, enthusiastic Secondary Cover Teachers to support a variety of fantastic secondary schools in Holsworthy and the surrounding local areas.
If you love teaching but want to leave the planning, marking, and data tracking behind, day-to-day supply cover is the perfect way to make an impact without the take-home stress.
What You'll Be DoingAs a General Cover Teacher, no two days are the exact same. You will be stepping into different classrooms to deliver pre-set work, keep students engaged, and ensure lessons run smoothly.
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects (no planning required!).
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and focused learning environment.
Follow school policies and safeguard students in line with each school's individual guidelines.
Leave brief handover notes for the returning class teacher at the end of the day.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT) is highly preferred, but we also welcome applications from highly experienced Cover Supervisors or Instructors.
Strong classroom management skills and a calm, confident presence.
Flexibility and the ability to hit the ground running in a new school environment.
Reliable transport or a willingness to travel around Holsworthy and neighbouring towns.
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
Ultimate Flexibility: Choose exactly when and where you want to work-perfect for balancing family, travel, or other projects.
Zero Workload Outside of School Hours: Arrive at 8:30 AM, leave at 3:30 PM. No marking, no parent's evenings, and no lesson planning.
Competitive Pay: £100 to £165 per day, paid weekly.
