Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for a rewarding classroom role without the burden of planning, marking, and endless administrative tasks? We are seeking adaptable, energetic, and dedicated General Cover Teachers to join local primary and secondary schools across Bristol. This is an ideal position for experienced teachers wanting a better work-life balance, ECTs looking to gain broad classroom experience, or supply specialists who thrive on variety.
Responsibilities- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment in line with school policies.
- Manage classroom behaviour constructively and ensure student safety and engagement.
- Leave detailed handover notes for returning class teachers at the end of the day.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to adapt quickly to different school environments.
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Pay: £130 - £160 per day (dependent on experience and scale).
- Zero Planning & Marking: Step into the classroom at 8:30 AM and walk away stress-free at 3:30 PM.
- Flexibility: Full-time and part-time options available; work as many or as few days a week as fits your lifestyle.
- Local Bristol Placements: Short commutes tailored to your location preferences within the Bristol area.
- Competitive Daily Rates: Paid weekly via PAYE or umbrella company.
