We are seeking reliable, adaptable Secondary Cover Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our team, delivering day-to-day supply across secondary schools in Plymouth. If you love being in the classroom but want to leave the late-night marking and lesson planning behind, this is the ideal role for you.
What do we offer- Competitive Daily Rates: Earn £130 - £160 per day depending on experience.
- Zero Planning & Marking: Step into the classroom, deliver the provided work, and finish your day at 3:30 PM with your evening completely free.

- Local Work: Short commute times with placements across reputable Plymouth secondary schools.
- Variety: Gain experience in diverse subject areas and dynamic school environments.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various secondary subject areas and key stages (KS3/KS4).
- Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment using effective behaviour management strategies.
- Ensure student safety, welfare, and engagement throughout the school day.
- Follow individual school policies and leave clean, detailed handovers for returning subject teachers.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential (ECTs/NQTs and experienced teachers are all welcome to apply).
- Strong classroom presence and adaptable communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Location: Plymouth & Surrounding Areas
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Contract Type: Day-to-Day Supply / Flexible
