Geography Teachers - Liverpool
We are recruiting dedicated Geography Teachers to join our secondary school communities across the Liverpool City Region. From the historic Docklands to the expanding suburbs, we have vacancies for ECTs ready for their first challenge and experienced teachers looking for leadership opportunities.
We have roles across the entire North, South, Centre and Inner City of Liverpool from L1 to L40.
What We Look For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A passion for Physical and Human Geography and a commitment to environmental education.
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3, KS4.
- Organise and lead high-quality fieldwork opportunities to bring the curriculum to life.
- Monitor and assess student progress using data to provide impactful feedback.
- Develop resources that align with the curriculum and current GCSE specifications.
- Utilise GIS software and digital tools to enhance spatial learning in the classroom.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to share best practices and resources.
