Geography Teacher - Sefton - September - £150 to £220/day
A group of prominent secondary schools throughout Sefton - including Bootle, Formby, Crosby and beyond - are recruiting for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teachers to inspire students from September.

You will be responsible for teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that deepen understanding of both local and global topics such as ecosystems, migration, and sustainability. You'll foster a love for enquiry, map reading, and geographical investigation, helping students develop analytical skills and a greater awareness of the world around them.
Key Duties:
- Deliver well-structured and stimulating Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan creative and differentiated lesson content.
- Mark and assess work in line with school policy and provide feedback.
- Maintain excellent behaviour for learning in the classroom.
- Liaise with colleagues, attend department meetings, and share best practice.
- Support whole-school events and contribute to enrichment activities.
- Use assessments to inform planning and track pupil progress.
Skills and Qualifications:
- UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching secondary Geography (PGCE students welcome).
- DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Passion for geographical education and enrichment.
- Knowledge of current curriculum requirements and assessments.
