The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Groundworker who prides yourself on a high-quality finish? We are looking for a skilled Finishing Groundworker for a commercial/infrastructure project based in Middlesbrough.
This role is specifically for a finishing specialist who can lay kerbs and flags to a high standard. We are offering competitive CIS rates for an operative who can work cleanly, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Spec Kerbing: Installing concrete, natural stone, and radius kerbs, ensuring they are laid to exact lines and levels.
Precision Flagging: Laying block paving, tactile paving, and flags for pathways, pedestrian areas, and public realms.
Preparation & Edging: Setting up timber edgings, laying sub-base materials (Type 1), and prepping ground surfaces prior to laying finishes.
Site Support: Working closely with the machine operators and rest of the groundworks team to keep the handovers running smoothly and snag-free.
Requirements:
CSCS Card: Must hold a valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Blue Card preferred).
Experience: Proven experience in high-end groundworks finishing (flagging, kerbing, and paving) with references to back it up.
Tools: Must have your own basic hand tools for finishing work.
PPE: Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/trousers, steel toe boots).
Reliability: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping site safety standards.
