General Services Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Hard Services Manager with a specialization in electrical systems. This challenging and rewarding role is based on a static site, where you will lead a dedicated team to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Electrical Systems Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the effective management of electrical services, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Budget Management: Responsible for budget planning and control related to electrical services, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality services, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to project timelines.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.
Compliance: Ensure that all electrical systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications and Experience:
- degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 18TH Edition
- Proven experience in a technical management role, preferably in a static site environment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
