Essential Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice.
- Deep understanding of current safeguarding and Child Protection legislation.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of form tutors to ensure a consistent approach to pastoral care.
- Monitor and analyse year-group data (attendance, behaviour, and progress) to implement targeted interventions.
- Oversee the behaviour management system for the year group, ensuring a calm and purposeful learning environment.
- Coordinate and deliver high-impact assemblies that reinforce the school's core values and ethos.
- Act as a Safeguarding lead for the year group, responding swiftly to any welfare concerns.
- Liaise with external agencies and parents to provide holistic support for students with complex needs.
- Organise and lead parent's evenings and community engagement events.
- Develop a rich extracurricular program to foster student leadership and character development.
- Support transition periods, ensuring students move seamlessly between key stages.
- Maintain a high presence around the school site during social times to model expected behaviours.
