- Identify potential health and safety risks early and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site walk-throughs, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of site activity and report on health and safety milestones to management.
About You:
- Proven experience in a senior site-based construction role with a focus on health and safety (e.g., Site Supervisor, Foreperson, or Site Manager with H&S responsibilities).
- Deep understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and multiple trades regarding health and safety.
- Excellent knowledge of WHS legislation and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, with a focus on identifying safety implications.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, decision-making, and prioritisation under pressure, especially in safety-critical situations.
- NEBOSH and CSCS card required; relevant trade qualifications or Cert IV in Building and Construction highly regarded.
