Salary: £35,235 - £39,513 (plus market supplement of £5,000 per year £40,235 - £44,513)

Job Summary
Herefordshire Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their team specialising in supporting children with disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children with disabilities and their families. This includes conducting assessments, developing care plans, and advocating for the best interests of the children in your care.

Requirements:
- You will be fully qualified (SW Degree, DipSW, or equivalent social work qualification)
- Hold a minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a statutory setting, preferably within Kinship & Fostering.
- Expertise in complex assessments for Court/Foster Panel, strong safeguarding background, understanding of Kinship care regulations, and excellent analytical reporting skills.
- You must be registered with Social Work England and you must have a full driving licence with access to a car.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
