Randstad Education is seeking a skilled High Level Teaching Assistant(HLTA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support classroom learning and contribute to student success. Responsibilities
- Support and lead learning activities alongside class Teachers, including focused group work and delivering tailored learning objectives.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, professionals, and colleagues to enhance pupil development and promote the School's ethos.
- Monitor, record, and report student's progress, providing feedback to both students and teaching staff.
- Help SEN students through personalised plans and fostering independence.
- Prepare and maintain the classroom environment, including resource management and creating displays.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as photocopying and resource preparation to support teaching and learning.
- Participate in School trips, supervising groups and ensuring adherence to School policies.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and School policies at all times.
Requirements
- Deliver and support learning activities confidently, with experience in focused group Teaching.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build constructive relationships with students, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Support students with Special Educational Needs(SEN) and implementing EHC or similar plans.
- Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom environments effectively.
- Commitment to professional development through training and collaborative working.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and commitment to student welfare.
- Work independently and take initiative when leading learning activities or supporting staff.
