You will be the bridge between teaching and support, taking the lead on whole-class instruction during PPA time or teacher absences, while still providing the high-level intervention that helps students excel. Responsibilities
Lead whole classes across the school (EYFS, KS1, or KS2) in the absence of the class teacher.
Plan and deliver learning activities, adapting them based on student needs and progress.
Support the teacher in monitoring, assessing, and recording student achievement.
Provide specialized small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
Essential Requirements
HLTA Status or a recognized equivalent qualification (Level 4 or above).
Proven experience leading whole classes in a primary school setting.
Strong curriculum knowledge across multiple Key Stages.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to be proactive, flexible, and use your own initiative.
