Duties:

• Teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, following school schemes and exam board requirements.
• Design and deliver well-structured lessons that promote engagement, curiosity, and independent learning.
• Assess student's progress regularly using formative and summative methods, and provide timely feedback.
• Adapt lessons and resources to cater to a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Support pupil's academic and personal development through positive behaviour management and motivation.
• Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum by attending department meetings and sharing ideas.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to parent-teacher communication.

Must Haves:

• UK QTS or equivalent qualification to teach in secondary schools.
• Experience teaching History in UK schools at KS3/KS4.
• Knowledge of current GCSE History syllabus and exam expectations.
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic approach to teaching.
