Randstad Education is currently recruiting for confident and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across our partner primary schools in the Leeds area. Whether you are looking for 2 days a week or full-time long-term cover, we have daily supply and short-term placements available to suit your schedule.

Your Role: As a Supply HLTA, no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher (PPA cover or sickness).
Delivering learning activities to whole classes, ensuring behaviour management policies are followed.
Working with small groups for targeted interventions (literacy/numeracy catch-up).
Supporting the general running of the classroom and assisting with resources.
Providing feedback to the regular class teacher on pupil progress and behaviour.
What we need from you:
Qualification: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status (Level 4) or a relevant degree with significant experience leading whole classes.
Experience: proven experience teaching or covering classes within a UK Primary School setting.
Confidence: The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and deliver engaging lessons.
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
References: Two professional references to cover your work history.
