We are currently recruiting for a higher level teaching assistant for a primary school in Croxteth. The role is to cover PPA 5 days a week across all year groups from Nursery to Y6. You will need to have experience of full class cover and knowledge of both primary Keystages. The role is from 1st September for the full academic year.

Responsibilities:
* Working with children with a variety of needs
* Supporting the children in completing day to day tasks around the classroom and with their learning
* Engaging with the children * Promoting positive behaviour
* Making observations in line with the primary curriculum
* Supporting the teacher with behaviour management
Requirements:
As a successful higher level teaching assistant you will have:
* Experience of working with children in primary school
* Experience of supporting a class teacher to promote positive behaviour
* Some knowledge of the primary curriculum
* The ability to communicate and work as part of a team within the school
