The Opportunity
Are you a compassionate caregiver looking for a stable, rewarding role within your local community? We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team across North East Fife. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who value meaningful work and the independence of a community-based role.
We provide essential support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Your Rota (7 over 14 Shift Pattern)
This role offers a consistent, rolling two-week rota so you can plan your life in advance:
Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun (07:30-13:00 & 17:00-21:30)
Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri (07:30-13:00 & 17:00-21:30)
Key Responsibilities
Personalised Care: Deliver high-quality support based on individual care plans (e.g., personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility assistance).
Daily Living Support: Assist with meal preparation, medication prompting, and light household tasks.
Companionship: Act as a consistent, friendly face for our clients, monitoring their wellbeing and providing emotional support.
Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs and report any changes in client health or circumstances to the management team.
Requirements
Driver: A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential for travelling between client locations in Cupar, St Andrews, and Tayport.
Experience: Previous experience in a formal care setting (Care Home, Domiciliary, or NHS) is required.
Reliability: You must be comfortable working the split-shift patterns listed above and committed to your rota.
Why Join Us?
Stable Income: A guaranteed annual salary rather than "zero-hours" uncertainty.
Local Impact: Support your neighbours and make a tangible difference in the NE Fife community.
Growth: Access to overtime shifts for those looking to increase their earnings.
Professional Support: Work within a structured environment with clear organisational procedures and care planning.
Note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) check via Disclosure Scotland.
