HR Coordinator
Location: Tamworth / North Birmingham (B77)
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8am-4pm OR 9am-5pm OR 10am-6PM)

We are seeking a friendly, experienced HR Coordinator to join an outstanding office and administration team in the B77 area. This school is renowned for its inclusive culture, believing that success is built on thriving partnerships between pupils, parents, staff, and governors.
Impact & Responsibilities
As a key member of the HR team, you will deliver an efficient and confidential service across the school and wider Trust. Your day-to-day will involve:
... - Recruitment & Onboarding: Overseeing the end-to-end process, including DBS checks, health clearances, and references in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
- Compliance: Managing the Single Central Record (SCR) and ensuring all data complies with GDPR and DfE Workforce Census requirements.
- Payroll & Data: Managing monthly payroll functions, including contract variations, sickness monitoring, and statutory leave.
- Policy Development: Contributing to the implementation of HR policies and using data metrics to support best practices.
- Advice & Support: Acting as the first point of contact for staff queries, troubleshooting issues with professionalism and integrity.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record in HR management or coordination (minimum 2 years recent relevant experience).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with UK employment law and safeguarding regulations.
- Technical Skills: High level of attention to detail and proficiency in managing HR databases.
- Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided) and hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
