What You'll Be Doing
...
As an Import Logistics Coordinator within the International Logistics Department, you'll be a key player in supporting life-saving operations. Handling 70-100 imports per month, you will help manage and optimise newly implemented import processes in an evolving and dynamic environment.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Coordinating clearance instructions for items sourced for internal use, items returned for repair, and test equipment.
Managing the Return Material Authorisation (RMA) process from customer contact through to receipt of goods.
Collaborating with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and HMRC to ensure seamless logistics.
Overseeing Customs Compliance processes, including Inward Processing Relief (IPR), Returned Goods Relief, and Home Use procedures.
Maintaining accurate and auditable import shipment records.
Verifying shipping documents and MSS reports for customs compliance.
Communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in import logistics within a manufacturing environment, with familiarity in Returned Goods Relief, IPR (for Repairs), and Home Use.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
SAP or similar ERP system experience (training available if required).
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
