An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Social Worker to join a fostering service as an Independent Form F Assessor. This is an ad hoc role focused solely on the assessment of prospective foster carers. The successful candidate will work independently, producing high-quality, analytical reports without ongoing caseholding responsibilities. This role is ideal for practitioners seeking flexible, paid-per-completion work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct home-based interviews with prospective foster carers to evaluate skills and suitability

• Use the Form F framework to produce comprehensive, evidence-based assessments

• Analyse applicants' history, family dynamics, and parenting capacity

• Gather and review third-party information, including personal references and statutory checks

• Present the final report to the Fostering Panel, providing a professional recommendation
