The Role

Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Computing.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality IT and Computing lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and digital literacy.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the National Curriculum and GCSE/A-Level specifications.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of schemes of work.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technical skills.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods, including practical demonstrations and project-based learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to the Computing curriculum.
