We are seeking a reliable and proficient contract joiner to provide holiday cover for our busy team. This is an immediate start opportunity, perfect for an individual looking for a concentrated period of work, focusing on high-quality internal joinery for domestic kitchen and bathroom refurbishments across Leeds.
Main Duties:
- Full installation of kitchen units, worktops, splashbacks, and appliances (where joinery is required).
- Installation of bathroom cabinets, vanity units, bath panels, and general timber framing.
- Fitting and adjusting internal doors, architraves, and skirting boards.
- Undertaking all aspects of second fix joinery to a high standard.
- Working to precise measurements and detailed plans.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard of finish, and within agreed timescales.
- Liaising effectively with other trades and homeowners where necessary.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines on site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner, with significant experience in domestic kitchen and bathroom fitting.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in joinery or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Valid CSCS card.
- A full UK driving licence and own reliable transport and own tools is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems on-site.
- Reliable, punctual, and a professional attitude when working in people's homes.
