The Role
Working within the Glasgow Community Justice framework, you will focus on the supervision and rehabilitation of individuals within the community. Your expertise will help reduce reoffending and manage public safety effectively.
Case Management: Overseeing individuals on Community Payback Orders (CPOs), Drug Treatment and Testing Orders (DTTOs), and statutory licenses.
Assessment & Analysis: Utilizing evidence-based tools to determine risk levels and service needs.
Court Support: Preparing high-quality Social Enquiry Reports (SERs) and providing professional representations in court.
Partnership Working: Collaborating with Police Scotland, health professionals, and local support services to ensure holistic care and supervision.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Training: You must be fully trained and proficient in LS/CMI (Level of Service/Case Management Inventory).
Qualifications: A Degree in Social Work and current SSSC registration.
Forensic Experience: Proven experience working within a statutory Criminal Justice or Community Justice setting.
Reporting Skills: Ability to produce concise, analytical reports under tight deadlines.
The Package
Pay Rate: £38.00 - £40.00 per hour (Highly competitive rate).
Work-Life Balance: 4-day condensed week (37 hours over 4 days).
Location: Glasgow-based (Community Justice Centers).
Start Date: Immediate (subject to compliance).
