KS1 Teacher Vacancy in Wigan
Randstad Education is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our network of fantastic schools in the Wigan area. This full-time, long-term opportunity is a brilliant way to gain valuable experience and make a real difference to children in their crucial early years of education.
We are searching for a teacher with a genuine passion for Key Stage 1, who can inspire a love of learning and create a positive, stimulating classroom environment.
The Role: What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering the Year 2 national curriculum in an engaging and creative way.
- Assessing student progress and providing meaningful, constructive feedback.
- Maintaining excellent classroom management to ensure a productive and safe learning space.
- Collaborating with fellow staff to uphold high standards of teaching and a supportive school culture.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including meetings and professional development.
What We Require
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching at Key Stage 1, specifically with the Year 2 curriculum.
- A strong understanding of assessment and tracking frameworks.
- The ability to build rapport with students and motivate them to achieve their best.
- A strong commitment to child welfare and safeguarding.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
