Responsibilities:
- Communicate with and encourage children with additional needs
- Demonstrate a dedicated interest in children's education and creating the best learning environment
- Maintain a positive outlook and attitude
- Apply knowledge of various teaching methods
- Exhibit good organisational and verbal communication skills
- Adhere to the curriculum, including updates
- Deliver pre-planned lessons
- Use subject knowledge and teaching skills to engage students
- Manage classroom behaviour
Requirements for a Successful Candidate:
- A degree in teaching (PGCE) with QTS
- Experience teaching KS2 children
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Relevant professional teaching references
- Passion for teaching and learning
- Ability to tailor teaching approach to individual needs
