We're looking for a skilled and motivated KS2 Teacher to join a forward-thinking primary school located in the LS23 area. You'll play a key role in supporting upper or lower Key Stage 2 learners as they build independence and prepare for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver well-paced and engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Plan, mark and assess in line with national expectations
Build a classroom culture that promotes resilience, respect and curiosity
Manage challenging behaviour effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
Communicate consistently with parents and carers to support learning at home
Contribute to wider school initiatives and pupil enrichment opportunities
Candidate Profile:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Demonstrable experience teaching in KS2 (Y3-Y6)
Skilled in supporting a wide range of learning abilities and needs
Calm, confident and firm in managing classroom behaviour
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
