A specialist provision in your area is seeking a full-time SEN Teacher to deliver cross-curricular lessons (Maths, English, PSHE, Humanities) to a Year 9 group operating at a lower KS level. This role begins in September and runs for one term initially-with the strong potential to extend or move to permanent.
Your Day-to-Day:
Deliver creative, scaffolded lessons in a calm, consistent environment
Use a primary model approach to support small-group learning
Promote emotional regulation and mutual respect through every interaction
Adapt planning and assessment to match pupil profiles and EHCPs
Work collaboratively with LSAs and pastoral support
What You'll Bring:
QTS or QTLS with cross-curricular teaching experience
Strong understanding of SEMH and SEN strategies
Confidence working in challenging environments
A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
