KS3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Liverpool Secondary Schools
Pay Rate: £13.68 - £15.00 per hour

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Key Stage 3 Teaching Assistants to support students in Years 7, 8, and 9. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with teenagers and wants to help them reach their full potential. We have both day to day supply and long term roles.

Duties:

• Helping students understand their classwork in core subjects like English, Maths, and Science.
• Working with small groups of students who need extra encouragement or support.
• Assisting during school exams by acting as a reader or scribe for students.
• Supporting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Helping Year 7 students settle into the secondary school environment.
• Encouraging students to stay focused, organised, and engaged in their learning.
• Building positive relationships with students to boost their academic confidence.

What you need:

• A positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with teenagers.
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
