Are you a reliable and hardworking labourer looking for a new role in Northumberland? We are currently seeking a labourer for a busy, high-quality new build housing development in Morpeth.
The Role:
You will play a key part in the site team, balancing general site maintenance with specific assistance for the flooring and boarding teams.
- Preboarding Support: Assisting with the preparation of floors and surfaces prior to boarding, ensuring areas are clear, level, and ready for trades.
- Material Movement: Safely transporting plasterboard, flooring materials, and timber to the correct plots.
- Site Tidiness: Ensuring that plots are swept and clear of debris both before and after trades have finished their work.
- General Labouring: Assisting various trades, unloading deliveries, and maintaining site safety standards.
- Safety: Strictly adhering to all Health & Safety protocols and wearing full PPE.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience assisting with floor boarding or plasterboarding prep is highly preferred.
- A valid CSCS card is essential.
- A proven track record of punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Must be capable of manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Must have your own full Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, boots, hi-vis).
