• Work directly with looked after children and young people, providing high-quality support and advocacy.
• Develop and implement person-centered care plans, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
• Build strong relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
• Manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing urgent needs and adhering to statutory timescales.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of services for looked after children.
• Participate in regular supervision and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

• Registered with Social Care England.
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience working with looked after children is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to children in care.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with young people and their families.
• Commitment to person-centered practice and ethical standards.
