Learning Mentor Position - Plymouth

We provide a highly supported, personalised learning environment for students who are unable to attend mainstream education.

Key Details
Position: Learning Mentor
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday, during term time)
Salary: £85 - £90 Per Day
Location: Plymouth (travel between sites/student homes may be required)
What You Will Do:
Provide personalised support to students, addressing both behavioural and academic challenges.
Help students develop crucial coping strategies and life skills through engaging activities and weekly trips.
Offer academic assistance and support for students' emotional well-being.
Collaborate with families to help create a stable home environment that supports the student's learning and behaviour.

Who We Are Looking For:
Resilient with a strong desire to make a positive impact.
Previous experience working with young people, especially those with challenging behaviours.
GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent experience.
An understanding of school safeguarding and digital literacy.
A full driving licence is preferred (due to the nature of the role).
