Learning Support Assistant - Warrington
We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our partner secondary schools across the WA area, including Warrington, Widnes, and Runcorn.
Overview of the Role: As an LSA, you will provide vital support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their educational goals. Your work will be varied and impactful, giving you the chance to work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Pay: £150 to £220 per day, based on experience.

Duties:
- Providing in-class support by working directly with students, either one-on-one or in small groups.
- Assisting with learning materials, such as adapting worksheets or creating visual aids to meet student needs.
- Supporting student well-being by acting as a mentor, offering emotional support, and building confidence.
- Helping to manage student behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Communicating and reporting on student progress to teachers, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), and other staff.
- Supervising students during break times, lunch, or on school trips.
- Implementing a student's individual support plan, such as an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), to ensure they receive the specific support they need.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in helping children learn.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred.
- Eligible to Work in the UK (ETW).
- A calm and professional demeanour.
